Bonita Beach Florida Condos

Condos in Bonita Beach are popular as vacation rental condos which produce rental income while providing owners a vacation condo for getaways of their own.  The best reason to buy a condo in Bonita Beach would clearly be the beauty of the beach itself, which faces west, and nightly sunsets.   Condo vacations near this beach offer renters some of the prettiest beach in Florida – white, soft, and generally uncrowded. 

Vacation condo rentals in Bonita Beach vary by season – high season is President’s weekend (mid-February) until two weeks past Easter.   Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year’s weeks also demand the highest rental rates.  Condo owners charge mid-level rental rates for the “shoulder seasons” of mid-October through mid-February and post-Easter through the end of May.  Summer rates generally apply June through mid-October;  condo rentals during this time are the lowest of the year, and pricing can be flexible.  

Most Bonita Beach condo rentals are for one week, but in season it’s not unusual to get rentals of one month or more.   A few lucky Bonita Beach condo owners (usually those whose units are nicest in terms of décor and location) have a high percentage of repeat guests to their specific condo.  

Bonita Beach has been experiencing the same type of transformation sweeping across South Florida – an upscaling, with the new replacing the old, the bigger replacing the smaller.   Many condos in this area – those built in the ‘70s – have had their balconies replaced in the last five years.    

Bonita Beach Condos are in a prime location – near the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, but also close to shopping on U.S. 41, and all the newest stores and malls in Bonita Springs and Estero.  Bonita Beach is also halfway between Fort Myers and Naples, and very near RSW airport, a real plus for vacation rentals.   Condos in this area have appreciated steadily during the past 40 years, with relatively few periods of price adjustment.   The fact is, Bonita Beach, Florida will always be delightful in the winter, and breezy in the summertime, often cooler than the southern half of the United States.   So condos on Bonita Beach will always have a vacation rental market.
